Does the scheme cover for long durations?
Yes refer to “get a quote” at the top of the page & select “long stay”

If I have emailed the policy to my customer, do I have to provide an additional hard copy?
It is preferable but not compulsory. Unless your customer asks for it, documentation emailed to your customer will satisfy compliance.

Up to what age does the child rate apply?

For families the child age is under 18 or if in full time education under 24

What Activities/Sports are covered?

The policy provides cover for a wide range of sports & activities all are detailed in the policy wording and under extensions sports and activities and you will see these on the website when you choose the Sports & Activities option on page 1.

What is the load for Winter-sports covered for Annual Multi-trip?
Nil! Annual includes Winter-sport

What is the maximum duration per trip for Annual Multi-trip?
31 days per trip

What is the policy age limit?

79 for Single Trip insurance, 69 inclusive for Annual Multi-Trip and 64 inclusive for Long Stay.

What is the load for Winter sports?
Double Single trip rate.

From what age is a child rate incurred?
As soon as the 2nd birthday (trip must be completed before to qualify as free)

How many children are acceptable under “Family Cover”
?
Up to 4 children and 2 adults

When does Annual Multi-trip commence?
As soon as you issue and for travel completed within 1 year

What changes can I make if I have already issued a policy?

You can cancel a policy and give a refund if the policy was sold within the last 14 days and does not meet the customer requirement. This is subject to their having been no travel or claims made. If you need to make adjustments to the travel dates or insured travellers, you need to issue a replacement policy and cancel the old one, whereupon an account credit is given.

Who are the Insurers/Underwriters?

Area 1, 2, 3, 4 Where in the World?
Area 1: UK, Channel Islands, Isle of Man & Eire
Area 2: All the countries of Europe to the west of the Ural Mountains (including Iceland), all Mediterranean islands, Turkey, Canary Isles, Madeira and the Azores
Area 3: Worldwide, excluding the United States, Canada & Caribbean
Area 4: USA, Canada & Caribbean

Are any Sports/Activities always excluded from cover?
Yes. Some are included anyway, some are included if unplanned/incidental, some require additional payment and the following all excluded Canyoning, Hang Gliding, High Diving, Micro Lighting, Parasailing, Rock Climbing/Scrambling, Boxing, Caving, Hunting/Shooting, Martial Arts (Competition) Motor Racing (all types) Mountaineering, Polo, Potholing, Weight Lifting.

What documents should my customer be issued with?

1.Full Policy Wording and 2. Premium Receipt/Validation (this will have the policy number) these are the basic requirements. The documents can be emailed if required.

What if I can’t get basic documents to my customer before they travel?

If you know you will not be able to get the policy to them, don’t sell it! If however, it has been sold already & your customer travels without it, they can see and print the policy from anywhere in the world at www.insurancedetails.co.uk. Also remember you can send a text with policy details and essential phone numbers via the website.

Do I have to enter my customers address?
If you already have a record of this you don’t need to complete it and if you are not going to email documentation you do not need to complete the email details.

Do I do anything different to issue Annual Multi-trip?
No. The same procedure applies and the same Policy Wording for Single trip and Annual and Long Stay.

What is the maximum duration we can provide cover for?
12 months on the Long Stay facility.

Are Pregnant Women covered by Insurance Cover?
Yes, we can cover pregnancy up to 8 weeks (16 weeks if a known multiple pregnancy) of the estimated date of delivery.

Can I change commission levels at will?

Yes! The system accommodates all this for you and issues invoices including all necessary IPT details.

Why is the website so much faster than others?
That’s a closely guarded secret!

We’re not that web/IT orientated here how easy is the system to use? we prefer pad issue!
It is just as quick as issue by pad but the big difference is NO ADMIN!! And NO ERRORS And No Compliance problems! You don’t need even need to be used to using the web, you will find it very easy and much better than manual issue.

All sounds good but, although, we are happy to issue on-line we want pre-printed policy wordings we don’t want to print them from the web using our printer!
No problem we also send a supply of hard copies.

We would like to start selling but don’t want to close our existing travel insurance account yet, can we do this?

Who are insure2travel, how do I know my customer’s money is in safe hands?

Insure2travel is a subsidiary of Morgan Financial Group Limited with offices in Bath, Bristol & Cardiff. The group was founded in 1992 following a management buyout from Morgan Insurance Brokers Limited, a company that had been trading since the 1950’s. The Underwriter is Europ Assistance who have been trading for 40 years, an international company operating in 34 countries worldwide. Europ Assistance have a S&P (standard & poors) rating of A.

How many staff do you have?
Currently 89 throughout the group, some of which are dedicated insure2travel staff but insure2travel also benefits from group support. Additional support of your account comes from Europ Assistance, they will handle Underwriting, Emergency Assistance, Health Screening & Claims. When you have joined us, a specific account manager will be assigned to you and they will be able to give you detailed information about the company.

What experience does your company have in handling accounts like mine?
Insure2Travel is managed by people with both Insurance and Travel Industry backgrounds. The proprietor is Simon Parsons who has 15 years travel insurance experience. Is there a threshold for transactions? How much business do I need to do with you?
The web solution means we are able to facility smaller accounts cost efficiently.

Your product looks great but we don’t want to issue on-line we want to use pads!

Insurers are starting to phase out manual issue (pads). It’s so easy to use our website that I’m sure once you start you and your staff will much prefer it. It eliminates errors and does your return for you! You can get a quote and issue cover in seconds! You could run our scheme alongside your existing pad scheme until you become more comfortable with on-line issue.

What range of products is available on-line from insure2travel?
Single Trip which includes Gold cover & Silver cover (Silver cover is comprehensive but excludes baggage)
Annual Multi-trip (Silver & Gold) which includes winter sports and for unlimited travel to Europe or Worldwide
Long Stay (Gold or Silver) which is the same comprehensive cover for trips up to 12 months
Winter sports which is included in Annual Multi-trip as standard is provided as extension to Single Trip & Long Stay.

How does your product compare with others on the market?

For value for money, there is nothing to beat Insure2travel! If you compare our rates, cover and unique services nothing else compares!

Who handles Claims, Emergency Services and Health Screening?
Europ Assistance handle all the above, this means we provide your customer with an exceptionally efficient service because unlike many other companies the service is seamless and this enhances communications.

Why are your rates so cheap! But with a high level of cover?
(1) Transacting on-line is more secure for Insurers and therefore, the rates provided are better
(2) The web solution is cheaper for us to run and therefore, you are not having to subsidise antiquated systems that are not as cost efficient

Page Cannot Be Displayed Error
When I try to view the web site, I get a 'Page Cannot be Displayed' error.
1. Ensure your browser security settings allow cookies. If in doubt, ask your IT department or representative before you adjust security settings

2. If you access the internet through a broadband rooter, try rebooting the router.

3. NORTON FIREWALL USERS:
There are some issues with Norton Firewall not allowing scripts on the Insure2Travel web site to run. Please try the following:
1. Open Norton Personal Firewall
2. Under Privacy Control
3. Click on Configure
4. Click on Advanced
5. On the Global Settings tab under Scripts
6. Click on Permit

OR

1. Follow steps 1-5 above
2. Click on Add Site in the Lower Left
3. Add insure2travel.co.uk
4. insure2travel.co.uk will appear in the list on the left
5. Click on it
6. Uncheck the Use Default Settings box to the right under Scripts
7. Check the Permit Radio Button

If you are running Norton Internet Security you may need to use the following instructions.
1. Open Norton Internet Security 2005.
2. Click on privacy control.
3. Click on configure.
4. Click on advanced.
5. Click on add site.
6. Enter in the name of the trusted site. (insure2travel.co.uk)
7. Click on ok.
8. Click on the name of the trusted site in the panel on the left.
9. On the right, uncheck all the boxes under the Global settings tab.
10. Choose permit for all the radio buttons.
11. Under the User Settings tab, uncheck all the boxes.
12. Choose permit for all the radio buttons.
13. Click ok and you should now be able to access the system again.
